AgroPV Wash Protect (AWP) is a biodegradable 2-in-1 cleaning and protection solution for agrivoltaic (AgroPV) installations.
Chemitek’s AgroPV Solutions are the first and only range developed and independently tested specifically for AgroPV plants, and AWP delivers effective cleaning and long-lasting surface protection while respecting crops, soil, and surrounding ecosystems.
Solar panels installed above crops are frequently exposed to organic residues such as dust, pollen, bird droppings, and agricultural particles, which reduce light transmission and overall photovoltaic performance. AWP removes this organic soiling while applying an antistatic and antiadherent coating that delays re-soiling and keeps panels cleaner between maintenance cycles.
Unlike conventional solar cleaning products, AgroPV Wash Protect has been tested for agricultural environments, ensuring compatibility with plant development and soil conditions while maintaining optimal photovoltaic performance.

How It Works
AgroPV Wash Protect removes organic soiling commonly found in agricultural environments, including dust, pollen, bird droppings, and agricultural residues.
The product uses advanced liquid technology that works in combination with the mechanical action of cleaning brushes to break down and dissolve contaminants on photovoltaic modules.
After cleaning, AgroPV Wash Protect leaves an antistatic and antiadherent coating on the panel surface, reducing the adhesion of dust and organic particles and helping panels remain cleaner between maintenance cycles.
